Leslie Ellis, Psy.D., is the Clinical Director of National Educational Training Systems, Inc., and the Clinical Supervisor for Compass Care Alliance of Georgia and Tennessee. She is also an adjunct Professor at Argosy University, Tampa. She specializes in adult and adolescent assessment and teaches Individual Assessment and Psychopathology. Her primary research interests are in forensic and health areas. Her current research and practice interests have included Fibromyalgia. Intent upon identifying the cause of the disease and after extensive review of existing literature and research, Dr. Ellis developed her neuromuscular, hyperalgesic, diathesis-stress model to identify the physical pathways underlying the disease and the connection between these pathways and chronic stress.   Dr. Ellis has presented to psychologists and counselors across the United States at professional conferences and as a guest presenter at medical grand rounds. Her work on Fibromyalgia has most recently been published in Vistas 2008, the juried journal of the American Counseling Association.  Dr. Ellis’ most recent presentation on Fibromyalgia was at the American Counseling Association in Hawaii. Dr. Ellis is a member of the American Psychological Association, and has been selected for inclusion in the 63rd  Edition of Who's Who in America, the 22-27th editions of Who’s Who of American Women, and the 26th Edition of Who's Who in the World.
